"Nathan Aufenkamp is a preacher, filmmaker, and author based out of Bismarck, ND. He graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California in 2016. Nathan has published six books, including a children's book titled “How To Catch A Wild Pizza" and his newest "Beware the Apple Sauce Monster." He's always been interested in writing, as he was a sports columnist for the Valley News and Views for six years throughout middle and high school. Nathan has directed five award-winning films including “Life is Now” and his newest, “The Fall.” His YouTube channel NatesMovies has received over one million views. He spends his weekdays as a substitute teacher and his weekends preaching in churches across the state. He enjoys watching movies, drinking coffee, drawing, the Twins, the Huskers, and spending time with family."

NatesMovies started when I began making videos and posting them to YouTube. Some of it funny, some of it not so funny, some of it cool, some of it so very dumb. But that love of making silly YouTube videos naturally grew into a love of movies. Watching movies, talking about movies, learning about movies, and eventually making movies. I still post to YouTube on a monthly basis, and the videos still run the gamut from pretty cool to very dumb. But I'm always working towards my next movie or project. And I have two or three big dreams.
